I encourage any View employees visiting here to post their "views" . It doesn't matter if you get fired, in 6 months you will be out of a job anyway; all except Rao who will be given a golden parachute.

If View doesn't run out of money before the Inflation bill kicks in, the 30% deduction for smart windows in the bill might allow the company and Rao to continue to fleece investors for another 5 years.

View survived another quarter and reaffirmed full year revenue guidance of $100 to $110 million. With less than five months remaining for the year, revenue projects must be operational. The company highlighted a set of projects that had mostly been previously communicated. The company does not report bookings.

Q2 revenue was only $16 million, DOWN from Q2 2021. The company did not report the revenue split between smart glass, smart building platform and smart building technologies businesses. Given that the later two were accretive and growing, it is reasonable to assume that View's core smart glass business SHRANK between 2021 and 2022.

The b/s shows $111 million in cash, down from $201 million at the end of Q1 and $281 million at the end of Q4 2021. The cash burn rate INCREASED QoQ while the revenue DECREASED YoY. Management's commentary on Q3 cost controls only seem to address a few million in one-time expenses. The company specifically stated "…there is substantial doubt about [View's] ability to continue as a going concern as its existing cash balance will not be adequate to fund its forecasted operating costs and meet its obligations beyond November 2022…"

The company announced $100 million in "committed equity financing" from a Canter Fitzgerald affiliated entity. The company can put up to the lesser of $100 million in stock or 19.99% ownership. This could imply a valuation at no less than $500 million from "insider" investors. The facility closes if the company loses its listing.

Despite the company’s well documented problems with product quality, there was no mention of warranty-related accruals. It is unclear how much warranty accrual is being added or how much is being retired.

Announcement of the investment tax credit for electrochromic windows should provide market benefit. However, unless the company addresses durability and performance problems, incentives will not save them.

Management’s stock option vesting was changed from performance-based to time based. The board has apparently concluded that the performance targets would never be met and accountability is impractical. Investors would appreciate similar favorable treatment. Investors will need to wait to next year's 10k disclosure to see what other compensation changes were made for management.

This was an interesting read. Apparently VIEW glass doesn't degrade in terms of glare control or performance. It didn't just pass insulating glass standards at the National Renewable Energy Lab, it exceeded all test standards they have for their testing For instance it has to last 50,000 cycles, but they exceeded over 100,000+ cycles (or 50 years+) . I assume that means they have best of product out there for dynamic glass and may be why they own 80% of the current market for dynamic glass. https://view.com/sites/default/files/documents/ebook-astm-standards-electrochromic-smart-glass.pdf

Can someone help me with the history of View? They seem like they are a good company and innovative, I’m trying to put the pieces together. When the price dropped, was that because CF Finance bought em? What’s going on? Appreciate the help!

Does anyone actually know what's happened today? I know its an awful feeling losing money on stocks but unfortunately it happens, I litterally lost £1.4k on RMO (Romeo Power) I sold my shares because they lied on the earnings report and litterally the day after they signed a deal with a big truck parts company, I can't remember their name but if I held one more day I would of had my money back and a bit more. By the way I'm still holding this, unless something extremely bad has happened it's not going to be this price in a few months guys, look at Nikola.
