So I’ve switched my 401K into this index fund 100% recently. Looking to hold long term for retirement in about 25 years. Any advice for or against this decisions? Thanks

I don't think that VIGAX has another 10% in gains in it. Looks pretty bad here. I actually found (http://Achieverspot.tech) the other day and their stocks are way better...

Waiting for the bottom (60% drop from current price) before investing in VUG or VIGAX. Too risky to buy now, will wait when recession is over.

Seeing this was down over 30% in the last 6 months, I moved my IRA over into it from an S&P500 index fund. Let the growth begin!

Yes, VUG is vanguard growth fund. It is a good way to diversify in great Companies like MSFT, APPL, FB, GOODG, NVDA etc

Could be related to the Apple split too. That’s a large component of this etf.

Took advantage of a red day & sold some green stocks booking profits & started a new position in VUG!
VUG verses VOO, any comments?

this morning in pre trading it was down 12, now in aftermarket it's down 17, but that doesn't explain it's regular trading.

what can explain these swings?

Buy 1 VUG share a week for the next 30 years, regardless of the price, this will Dollar Cost Average.
Then reinvest dividends.

Stop paying for Life Insurance and Financial Advisors!!!!

a true investor does their own homework. uses proper techniques and discipline, doesn't have a financial advisor and most of all, doesn't take the advice of the next person. a true investor does not go to other sites to learn what they should do.
instead the true investor pays close attention to the companies they are invested in and has the eye to see new opportunity.
quit pointing people to places that don't have the investor in the best interest.

Quite the run in the past 3 days. Tom Lee is calling for a 4200 S&P 500 in April.
