    $CLDR conversation
Shorts are going to be toast this week. Cloudera Open World conference starting 9/16, that is where they show the worlds new software and get a lot of their enterprise customers and potential customers, similar the the Oracle Open World once a year. On top of that SnowFlake IPO will trigger institution re-valuation of the Cloud Computing industry, so all Cloud Stocks will likely to pop this week and next week. The more undervalued the Cloud stock gets now, the higher it would appreciate this week and next week, $CLDR has one of the lowest valuation and lowest PE ratio among all the Cloud stocks although CLDR had been beating earning and growing revenue at insane pace. So Get Ready for a 12% to 15% uptick this week.

From my perspective, Dell has to liquidate some of its VMW stake in order to pay down its debt. It is a forgone conclusion that this will happen next year. Now there may be other names in this market that will yield better returns over the next year, I can't argue that. VMW does seem to offer stable growth and profitability. Not to mention the ongoing efforts to integrate their cloud acquisitions, and transition away from their dependence on on-prem solutions. I see over $200 by this time next year, but we will see where the dust settles.

Low volume flea market bidding. No shame the way they trade this. Gelsinger was right on CNBC after Q2 earnings. VMW shares will be 100% market traded after spin-off. I have never see all the moving averages (20, 50, 100, 200) so tightly compressed together. A nice touch was the candlestick turning green even by today's close.

VMW could easily pull back to < or = $120 a share if the overall market pulls back 10%.

The whole point of companies is to make money. VMW does that great, why doesn't the stock go up then? All other tech shares are rising for days.

Looks like the same trading pattern pre-earnings -- Falls to low 140's/High 130's and then rises to high 140's. I was hoping that had changed after earning -- I'm still a buyer if drops below 140 and sometimes 141 -- valued way to cheap for a tech company

Most undervalued stock trading on NYSE. Look at the earning HYPE for similar companies like Workday and Salesforce but this thing is red even on day of earnings.

I heard VMW mentioned again today. Just a quick comparison to a new IPO.

These traders have too much control. Oh Dell dropped so we gotta drop some of course. Perfectly reasonable.

I work in IT and VMware is used everywhere, they are in Kubernetes big time and the stock has p/s of 5. And yet they seem to be the most hated tech stock. When is DELL going to let this baby fly?

If Micheal Dell can't have it, I guess the message is no one can. A healthy company whose stock likes to go down during a bull-market? Malfeasance plain and simple. Bot traded, tag-teamed shares.

CEO Pat is still answering good questions live. The market will digest it afterwards.
