When VOC terminated on dec 31, 2030, what does the shareholder then receive? - i. e., if I purchased VOC at $8/share, what will I receive per share on dec 31, 2030 when VOC which I understand to be a "statutory trust"?- $0 or a specific dollar amount per share, sort of like a preferred stock when it is called or matures?

Last time VOC reported a distribution close to this quarters 0.38 the stock traded above $17. In October 2014 the distribution was 0.37 and price was between $16.50 and $17.50. Market is pricing in a huge amount of bearish sentiment in oil prices/equities. At $7.50 this distribution is 20% yield annualized! By 2023 the tune will change and people will pile into these smaller trusts. Hold strong with confidence through volatility.

    Hi to all.
Anyone know what will happen after 2030?
If they continue to sell and pay dividends
Because I saw that the tables until 2030 and do not understand how long they will be able to sell gas and oil

    help?

This will be a $20+ dollar stock by 2023 with $150 oil incoming. For prospective buyers the lag between quartley distribution and the production months is 4 months. Q1 distribution is for Sep Oct Nov. Q2 for Dec, Jan, Feb. Q3 for March, April, May, Q4 for June, July, August. Look for the production months in the 10Q's on VOC Energy Trust webpage.

Last distribution was $.16 on $59.62 bbl. oil, and $3.29 gas. Oil traded well above that and gas is up also to about $6. My opinion is around >$.18 distribution this time. Yahoo!!!

I just did some quick benchmarking. I think the 0.28 distribution represents the months of December, January, and February. Even though the trust doesn't disclose which months, this is how most trusts operate with a time lag in production accounting. Using PBT's Texas Royalties sales prices I got an average oil price of $78.63 very close to the 3 month average for VOC ($5 off WTI spot price). If we account for an average sales price of $95 for the months of March, April, and May I get a monthly distribution of 0.37 which with a 13% dividend yield gives us a share price of $11.38.
    Bullish

build the proposed oil and gas pipelines that are planned. the other day I sat on the side of the highway just north of my home town (Uvalde, texas) , and counted 63 vacumn trucks transporting oil in just one hour. (There is no oil or gas production reported in my county) They run 24 hours a day! This is dangerous and costly. Our roads are damaged and require constant/ costly repairs. this also provides a hazard to others traveling these roadways. BUILD THE PIPELINES (a safe and less costly way to transport our vital products)

Does the price of crude oil effect the energy trust's price?

Projected the earnings for the first quarter assuming price stays above $100 this last week then did the math. The next dividend should be around 34 cents. 16% yield equals value of $8.50.

Shorts are trying to force this back down. After hours yesterday and today down. Oil is holding steady. When China opens back up in summer, consumption will increase and therefore so will VOC

I’m holding steady and buying more
