The crypto market trading is like sailing a ship on a rough sea and if you ain't got an experienced captain at the deck, your ship is sure to crash!!! Likewise in trading, The importance of a mentor is never overlooked, because no matter how good the strategy is, you might get confused at a point and that's where the expertise comes in handy because if not properly guided. You will incur a whole lot of losses. That's why it's pertinent to have a very good trader to guide you. Crypto still remains the Future of Finance, I will advise every investor to keep buying and trading, And for those who wish to increase their success rates in the financial markets to contact Greg Welles who is a specialist in the financial trading space, He will get you acquainted with the markets and soon enough you’ll start seeing those double digit returns that you deserve.
The pandemic has effected us all greatly so it’s only fair to share valuable information that we can all benefit from. You can contact him on Telegram, his username is “ GeorgetradesEQ “

Is a 60% VTI and 40% BND still good for long term buy and hold strategy for someone who will be retiring in a few years, at age 60? Thank you in advance for taking your time to answer this broad question. Cheers!

Vanguard upgrading is in progress. People who own many of their open-end index funds are discovering that the so-called "investor" shares are being converted to "admiral" shares without them even knowing it. What's the difference? The admiral shares have a lower management fee than the old investor shares, therefore he performance will be superior. Small investors now get the benefit previously afforded to the "heavy hitters". Everyone wins. Vanguard gets to reduce the number of funds they offer, which in turn reduces their costs. People who have "personal" shares are now being upgraded to admiral shares, and the "investor" shares are disappearing. I've been doing this on my own for awhile, but I came to discover that Vanguard was right on my heels doing the exact same thing. I manage numerous accounts for myself and my daughter, and, as of today, they have all been converted. I do not expect Vanguard to eliminate their open-end index funds. They still hold some benefits for smaller investors. For example, fractional shares. ETFs trade in whole shares, but reinvested distributions will result in fractional shares in the account. One feature that everyone should avail themselves of is the election of cost basis. The default setting in "average" cost basis. I recommend changing that to either FIFO or some other setting that gives the investor control over how taxes are reported to the IRS. It's free, so choose the one that works best for you.

    Is a 70% VTI, 20% VGT, 10% VXUS a good allocation?

Jack Bogle was a visionary. Watching the money go back and forth between growth and value. Meanwhile I’m owning everything in VTI and spend my time on other things while making gains.

Let's all join hands and pray for more days like yesterday (7/19). It was a beautiful opportunity to buy VTI on the cheap. It was what I call a "Covid blip". Bull markets need days like that to feed the upward momentum. The buyers need some incentive to take advantage of those who panic when they see minus signs. I simply entered a bunch of buy orders below the market and then went out for the day. By the time I got home, I had bought a total of 500 shares. Now, I wish I had bought more, but that's always the way it works. To whomever sold me their VTI shares on the cheap, thank you. BUY THE DIPS.

Price has gone up so much. Is it too late to get in at $220? or another vanguard fund which is new and still low?

I added more at 210, and those shares are already up. Good long term investment IMO.
