Anyone have idea why VSTO is slipping again today even though indexes are all green?

The product shortage is over .. Vista has not corrected their pricing and the distributor network has dissolved ... all those solid gold brands ruined... Remington, Federal, Winchester... what a disaster

Since the inception of the programs through March 31, 2022, we repurchased 2,981 shares for $113,165 leaving approximately $186,105 remaining to
be purchased. The shares were purchased from time to time in open market, block purchase, or negotiated transactions, subject to compliance with applicable
laws and regulations. The repurchase authorization also allowed us to make repurchases under Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The
approximate number of shares that may yet be repurchased under the 2022 Share Repurchase program was calculated using the Vista Outdoor closing stock
price of $35.69 per share on March 31, 2022.

Assuming political unrest has positive effect on ammo stocks, does anyone predict the DOJ indictments for Jan 6 and Georgia coming this fall for former president Trump and his inner circle will help stock price in Q3?
    Bullish

Vista Outdoor CEO was just interviewed on CNBC - he is seeing no slow down in interest or sales of outdoor activity and equipment. In fact everything is trending at an elevated level. $THOR $VSTO

All he has to say on investor day is that the projectile company should have at least a 2 billion mkt cap upon the spinofff and the stock should at least double.

Just checking back in. Sold at 49.75 back in Jan and figured I’d regret it but wow. What’s the matter with this picture??

Down 8% on 400k volume.... I hope mngt is using this opportunity to buy back shares. Its gotta be hedge funds blanketly selling off "retail" stocks, which VSTO is probably listed under. Great buying opportunity.

Appears government agencies that have no business doing so are back out buying projectiles. Then there is talk of a large tax on AMMO sales. Interesting times

Investor day slides posted. Seems to be some decent detail on revenue of quiet Kat and Foresight. Since the sporting side say focus on debt reduction and return of capital it would strongly suggest they will be given the existing debt load. Anyway worth a read

I am confused about premise anyone needs an AR-15 for home protection. When was the last violent attach on a private residence by a group of people that resulted in harm or property destruction. I am confident my HK and Ruger can satisfy any home invasion needs. Seems odd that we feel this is greatest country in world but we need military grade weapons to protect our property. Sounds more like 3rd world nation to me.
    Bullish

Look at a 5 year chart of this predatory vulture capital cult. So they bought several bankrupt ammo companies and are pulling a Martin Scarilli price gouge. That lasts about as long as monkey pox. 💩💩💩

Back to VSTO as investment - earnings beat last 4 cycles - no slow down in sales - on paper this company should be climbing in SP - what am I missing?

Imagine if VSTO used their 500 million income to buy back 25% of their stock.

Instead we got 500 million to buy quietkat which is pulling in 20 million in revenue a year.

Metz is a fraud and my prior suspicion that him and his corporate buddies wanted to do away with the icky ammo business.

Just a shame they milked it so he couls be a CEO of a non-ammo "growth" stock.

Biden's address on gun control will make sure projectiles stay scarce and expensive well into the future
