What happens when a stock falls below $1 on the Nasdaq?

If a company trades for 30 consecutive business days below the $1.00 minimum closing bid price requirement, Nasdaq will send a deficiency notice to the company, advising that it has been afforded a "compliance period" of 180 calendar days to regain compliance with the applicable requirements.

8 days and counting. Tic tok.

Expect a reverse split sometime this year.

A post from 18 months or so ago. Comes with a glass of cool aid,

Look at the rapid increase in product reviews on Amazon. This is an indicator that sales are likely also increasing at an exponential rate. I would think with the new Hisense WISA ready TV's that are selling in China, some bundled with WISA wireless speakers will increase sales 3 or 4 times by Q4. The modules sell for less than $10 in each speaker, so typically they were getting something like $50 per system. Now with the WISA Soundsend transmitter (that enables any ARC TV to use WISA speakers) one would guess they are getting an additional $25 per system (50% more than last year). The company has several things going for it, they are very very behind their original plan and Wallstreet gave up on them. Creates a unique opportunity as 2021 is likely their breakout year. I think we will see the stock price rise to the analyst target of $8 this year. But the big money won't be made until WISA sales have already increased 4 or 5 times 2020 sales, (maybe by Q4 2021 annualized) as the Wallstreet fund managers etc tend to ignore companies of this size.

As the WISA speaker companies introduce lower cost systems, WISA is going to start to eat the soundbar market. The true surround sound is so much better and the setup is so simple. Brett Moyer mentioned briefly on one of the Investor conf calls that this will enable a huge increase in the WISA TAM and the road to $100M in sales. I sure hope so.

A few points about the technology: It does not use Bluetooth to communicate between WISA transmitter and WISA speakers. Bluetooth is crowded and so using the higher frequency does two things A.) it reduces the latency (time between when you see an actors mouth move and when the sound comes out of the speaker) WISA is the best in this regard and for home theater one can not tolerate the delay the Bluetooth systems have (because the human mind can easily perceive it). B. it doesn't suffer as much in-band interference as bluetooth, disconnects, etc

I am failing to see the downside here. Correct me if I'm wrong, revenues have been increasing tremendously over the past few years. Not only that, but it is accurately priced in the 1.00 - 1.16 range. P/B ratio is currently 1.12 so SLIGHTLY overvalued but nothing considerable.

I am wondering is where they source their products from? If its China, like many other similar companies then they're in the same boat. If not, then they may gain even more sales because of the lockout there. If anyone has insight, feel free to comment :)

From Q1 22 report. Mgt is milking this company for everything they can get.

    Sales and Marketing

Sales and marketing expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2022 were $1,300,000, an increase of $426,000, compared to the sales and marketing expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2021 of $874,000. The increase in sales and marketing expenses is primarily related increased salary and benefit expenses, stock-based compensation expenses, consulting expenses, website development expenses and advertising expenses of $132,000, $92,000, $81,000, $18,000 and $39,000, respectively.

    General and Administrative

General and administrative expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2022 were $1,126,000, an increase of $158,000, compared to the general and administrative expenses for the three months ended March 31, 2021 of $968,000. The increase in general and administrative expenses is primarily related to increased stock-based compensation expenses, business travel and board fees of $94,000, $22,000 and $38,000, respectively, offset partially by decreased investor relations expenses of $57,000.

Trade .90 pre-market. Walking along the edge of the cliff at 1.03. There is a desperation bid of 20K at 1.00 trying to support it.

Awards, clicks, conferences, plans, patents.... Everything but sales. At current rate of burn they have about 6 months of cash left. Stock offering at these prices would be catastrophic. The end is in sight.

Touched all time low 1.00. IMO will drop under 1.00 , then after a while will get delisting letter from NASDAQ. The will do a reverse split , maybe 1:10. Price usually drops on announcement and implementation of RS. Get out now and let Uncle Sam share part of your losses.

The proof of concept, gen 1, is official and successful. award-winning WISA was adopted by many high-end top brands. Now, as stated in the presentation, steps to become mass-marketed are in action. Moving from transmitter-speaker connections to wifi-speaker connections. Opening markets to all speakers TVs and cell phones. 2023 is the execution of market domination and profitability.

Is the progress slower than investors would like? YES, but that does not undermine the fact that it is happening. Now is the time to buy or average down.

With the name change, WISA can start to brand and discuss all the products they are in for competitive marketing to new brands. for all the bears crying about click and web traffic please do some DD and see they are using that as an indicator like VWAP on a stock. if you do you will see a direct correlation to the click and revenue and understand why they use and keep stating it.

If the goal is to not lose money then why not tell them to get out on green or neutral days? Why wake up only on red days?

Believe me, last year they made a loss of $1.1m. There revenue went up 93%. This year they will not make a profit but they will break even. After that they will make a revenue. And after that the negativity will be history. Good luck.

eps beat, rev beat, New 5g products in the works, and 1st fully integrated tv on the market. tick tock goes the clock before this goes boom. fyi Brett can still hold this down for a while with his bad communication during and er call, but the traction is going in the right direction.

Market not impressed. Down .12 to 1.16. Low is 1.00 - how long will it hold.
Great growth in website clicks. Too bad that is not sales. On conf call Q/A said no profitability until 2023.
Will they need secondary this year?
