Around 6 million shares shorted today but according to Fintel, only 13 shares were available to short today. So most likely the Shorty Hedgefunds used Dark Pool Trading to get their shares there (more expensive for them).

This company will be fine and prosper as time goes on, the short sellers here bashed the stock all day because they fear what is coming.

So check out Tom's history. You can probably tell that he sold WKHS short this morning. I suspect that he still owns shares long, but is just trying to hedge by shorting. He will be rooting for the stock as soon as there is an uptick. Check him out for yourself, don't take my word for it.

Saying the stock is down every day may not be informative for those who follow this stock but it isn't opinion... it's reality... This stock goes down every day while investors are left in the dark since the company lacks the ability to communicate effectively - again reality...!

New ceo (a true Allstar! not a flunkie figure head) reviewed the company in full, saw the production capabilities, saw the orders, saw the facility, saw the accounting, saw the numbers, saw the already on the road proven superior product(not a sketch) saw the good, saw the future, saw the drones, considered his future and stellar reputation and took the job took the job because he knows the company is healthy and on the cusp of breaking out and he will be a king!

Again shorts spreading flat out lies and pretending to be disgruntled longs, we know your game and you are holding a losing hand. There are very, very few novices left to scare away. 30% to 60% short volume daily for a couple of months will unwind with even a hint of a catalyst and move this stock explosively upward. I just see the short chatter as last ditch effort to try to convince longs that the winning hand they hold isn't what it is. Buy signal if I ever saw one.

You don't fire the CEO 2 weeks before earnings and expect good news.

They even canned the CEO from the Board ---what does that tell you about the numbers

Same shorts spewing the same FUD. It tells me that they know the inflection point is near and the jig is up. 30 to 60 percent of the volume short for months eventually causes a squeeze even for dying business models like selling video games in a brick and mortar or cramming a bunch of people in a room together to watch a movie during a pandemic when streaming content is growing rapidly. But if you build up this short interest in an American innovator and technology disrupter like Workhorse, when it moves up it will be something written about as case examples in finance textbooks. This is the ultimate buy, outstanding growth prospects AND the highest potential of a squeeze.

@Tom here is the point. Why would anyone believe anything that you or @Frank9 might post when one minute you are touting the greatness of WKHS and the stock and the next minute you are bashing it. You guys waffle back and forth all over the place and most of what you post is purely that moments opinion. That, in my mind, gives you absolutely zero credibility. My stance on WKHS has been consistent sense I began posting on this board. You know where I stand everyday and I try and post factual information for the most part and when I make a mistake, I fess up to it. Trying to get a novice investor to sell stock out of fear is immoral and selfish as it is to try and coax an investor to buy out of greed. I leave it to the individual to make their own choice as to buy or sell a stock. I have already made my bet on WKHS.

Workhorse Appoints Richard F. Dauch as Chief Executive Officer GlobeNewswire July 29, 2021.
Dauch previously served as CFO of Delphi technologies where he successfully completed the spin off from Aptiv and executed a merger with BorgWarner last Qctober. Could this be the beginning of a merger and with who?

If it's my opinion I let you know but for the longest time I was critical about the former ceo because he lacked the ability to communicate and now you see the results.... He's gone... perhaps you can listen to what I say instead of being critical because you may not like it... It is a ceo's job to defend his company if shorts are trying to hurt the company...!

From Oshkosh's 8K filed today. Take note of the last bullet item. How can they even complete this process without an EV prototype? Even if Workhorse fails with the lawsuit, this could be the death knell for Oshkosh and the contract if they cannot satisfy this requirement. The USPS has almost $500 mil on the line betting that Oshkosh can meet the requirements. If they can't, the USPS is not obligated to buy a single van from OSK; but, they will have wasted a half a billion of US taxpayers money. There is no doubt that WKHS meets this requirement as an EV out of the gate.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On February 23, 2021, the USPS notified us that it selected us to build its Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV). The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract allows for the purchase of between 50,000 and 165,000 units over 10 years. To date, we have received an order for $482 million for engineering to finalize the production vehicle design and for tooling and factory build-out activities that are necessary prior to vehicle production. The USPS awards that we currently anticipate receiving from the USPS and our performance under the contract are subject to the following risks, among others, that could have a material adverse effect on our operating performance:

    • Budget constraints facing the USPS and continuously changing demands for postal services may result in the USPS ordering fewer units than we expect the USPS to award to us under the contract.

    • Although we believe the USPS awarded the NGDV contract to us as a result of a robust and thorough process, a competitor has challenged our winning proposal, which if successful could result in the USPS canceling part or all of our NGDV contract. Among other things, this would harm our ability to recover investments we have made in anticipation of initiating production under the contract and adversely impact future results relative to current expectations.

    • Although we believe the USPS awarded the NGDV contract to us as a result of a robust and thorough process, Congress could interfere with the contract, which could result in the USPS altering the quantities that we currently anticipate receiving from the USPS under our NGDV contract. Among other things, this would also harm our ability to recover investments we have made in anticipation of initiating production under the contract and adversely impact future results relative to current expectations.

    • Engineering time to finalize the production vehicle design may be greater than we anticipate.

    • Tooling and factory build-out activities that we must complete may be greater than we anticipate.

    • We are using a new manufacturing facility to perform under the contract, and the costs and other challenges associated with recruiting and training a new workforce may be greater than we anticipate.

    • The USPS’ obligation to order the minimum order quantity under the contract (50,000 units) is contingent upon our satisfactory completion of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process. Our failure to complete this process in a satisfactory manner
could result in a loss of the minimum quantity and prevent additional awards under the NGDV contract.

    Let’s face the facts:

    1) Earnings coming out Aug 09

    2) There is evidence that WKHS has produced more than 50 vehicles. Check re.ddit WKHS. Some of the trucks are fitted with roof mounts for their drones. Their order list is already backlogged.

    3) NSCC -2021-010 Search it up, basically shorts are already pulling their hairs out. TLDR: shorts will be forced to cover using other positions as a banana sacrifice to apes.

    Result:

Shorts doing their very best to shake paper hands but not really doing a good job. There’s obvious sign that the squeeze will happen. The desperation is so obvious.

Over the past month the short bashers have bred like rodents in the discussions.

    All HODLers will be rewarded.

    Redemption is coming August 3rd.
Oshkosh is being asked by the administration to provide 75% of its USPS fleet as all electric vehicles.
Something OSK cant do and cant build.
    They're only providing the chassis!!!
OSK 1st EVs are suppose to roll off production till 2023!!!!
And WHY did they get the contract again???
I think we all know how and why!
