This is the year things are going to happen for Westport. Starting with a great split up with Cummins. Then oems from all over will start slow and by years end big deals will happen.Once these sales start adding up and profits start then the world will know their name. I bought 2 years ago for a reason and that hasn’t changed. Even if the stock price drops further I won’t sell because it will happen!

The ADAC tested 112 cars in 2021 and also took a close look at their CO₂ and pollutant emissions. The surprising result:
The most environmentally friendly is a not so new drive.
Here comes the Ecotest leaderboard for 2021.
Petrol, diesel, natural gas, electric, hybrid: all current drives in the test
Natural gas vehicles and electric cars the cleanest

    https://www.adac.de/rund-ums-fahrzeug/tests/ecotest/ecotest-ranking-sauberste-autos/

Can I understand why here some users say that natural gas polluted ? Every magazine or test I read says that with biomethane makes the car as clean as a green electricity BEV

Just a matter of time - https://m.chinatrucks.com/news/9438.html. Cwi spark ignited on the left and the new Dongfeng Cummins Z15N on the right both pics of cool side of engine - NOT the same technology. Plus look at those Hpdi injectors sticking up on the 15L. Google Weichai Hpdi engine and compare it to the Z15N. Beyond similar.

    A flying start for 2022!

During the first weeks of 2022 we have hit new sales records and the share of biogas is on the highest level ever in our mix. More and more new gas trucks are coming on the roads and already over 30 LNG trucks have been pre-registered in Sweden. Last year we saw around 250 LNG trucks starting to operate on the Nordic roads. Soon we’ll hear more great news from our customers.

It is not only gas trucks. I was pleased to see the results of ADAC Ecotest 2021 (link in comments). Two gas-fueled passenger car models were in the top 3, together with one EV. For me, this means that finally the sector coupling is also identified in the road a transport sector and the wide-ranging benefits of circular economy are included in the analyses.

This all means, that we have had a truly flying star for this year: giving training to our customers, planning and executing new projects, implementing new service contracts, building new business cases together with our customers, and further developing our customer journey.

Without a real passion for cleaner future, all this would have not been possible! Great thanks !

Volvo is market leader in the Nordics, and this despite higher gas prices

Neandross also sees natural gas becoming a more viable option to diesel fuel in long-haul interstate trucking, thanks to the availability of more powerful and longer-range natural gas engines. Specifically, he cited engine manufacturer Cummins Inc.’s recent announcement that it would introduce a 15-liter natural gas engine in the North American market.
“This is a big deal as it opens up a much larger portion of the market to use natural gas, portions that were previously underserved by the 12-liter engine as it had limited power,” Neadross said. “The 15-liter engine really opens up a larger portion of the heavy-duty, over-the-road truck market to use natural gas.”
Sounds Hpdi2 to me. Pump it up Neadross.

Well guys it's been a slice but I just sold my position, it's getting too close to my purchase price of $1.51 and I'm not willing to lose money, as I've already been through several years of this. I do not have confidence in the management, especially the CEO, from my experience in the stock market as a retail investor that invests hard earned money and has reasonable expectations, and has had reasonable sucess, this has been the worst experience I have ever had investing in a company. Usually there is fun to be had researching and anticipating the next good move, strategizing your buys/sells etc. In this case it's just frustration and garbage from the management. Good luck to all the people that believe in the technology and are long. I don't have the stomach for any more of this. I am completely dissapointed with the BOD, they've consistently approved the wrong people for important positions and nobody has been able to capitalize on the great technology. It's a shame really. I'll be back if the stock goes below $0.50 AND the CEO & BOD are replaced.

I forgot who received the reply from Tweedy about '2-3 press releases' that he was working on that were to be released in 'a week or so'... Well, we're now beyond the week part of that and well into the 'or so' part. Would somebody please check with Tweedy and ensure he has a functional keyboard? I'd hate to think his keyboard is bottlenecking all the news.

Look at the 3 month chart for WPRT, CLNE, CMI and WEICY. Clearly, CMI and WEICY broke away and CLNE and WPRT were sold off hard. But WPRT and CLNE should NOT trade together…one is US and the other European…but they always have. Index and mutual funds. The clean energy trade unwound when BBB was blocked in congress. The loss of the CMI JV is MORE then priced in. If DJ can just have an “ok” ER with no negative surprises coupled with a “hey we got new orders…to warrant our expansion”…this stock will go parabolic…as it’s done in the past.

If it’s 10 more weeks without news Mark the stock price will be well below a $1. So they are waiting for 3/31 earnings to put the nail in the coffin of Westport.

should PLUG be worth 53 times more than WPRT in market cap? WPRT has a market cap of $367 million while PLUG possesses a market cap of $19.50 billion. Hmmm...let's take a look. WPRT's cash position of $149.80 million represents 41% of its market cap. PLUG's cash hoard represents 21.80% of its market cap. WPRT is selling at 1.13 times its annual sales. Plug's trailing annual sales are so lean at a mere $31.40 million they produce a dizzying 551 times sales. PLUG is selling at 4 times book, while WPRT is selling at 1.70 book. For the first nine months of 2021, WPRT has been profitable despite semiconductor shortages to deal with. PLUG has lost money.
