WiseTech (ASX:WTC), a global provider of advanced logistics software, has reported a whopping 57 percent growth in revenues and a massive 37 percent net profit after tax for its full 2018-2019 financial year. Sydney, Australia-headquartered WiseTech's CargoWise software is used in 150 countries and counts 12,000 logistics companies as customers.
Ohio-based container yard/terminal management software system Depot Systems has been bought by Sydney, Australia-based WiseTech Global (ASX: WTC) for an undisclosed sum, it was announced today. Commenting on the reasons for the acquisition, the CEO and founder of WiseTech Global, Richard White, said: "Depot Systems is highly regarded as the U.S. leader in container yard management software with innovative products and significant container yard experience. Empty container yards are a vital but often overlooked part of the international supply chain and landside logistics, thus Depot Systems is a valuable addition to build further opportunities for our technology solutions.
Global logistics solutions group WiseTech Global has announced the acquisition of Swedish messaging solutions provider Xware. Xware's solution is a turn-key integration system that connects different systems through messaging, API or transactions. Xware happens to be of particular interest to WiseTech Global because their target audiences and respective products are parallel.
Global freight forwarder Bolloré Logistics and productivity software provider WiseTech Global have done a deal to roll-out WiseTech's core software across the forwarder's global network. WiseTech's "CargoWise One" helps logistics providers to carry out transactions in freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, land transport and other areas. WiseTech says the system allows companies "to manage their operations on one database across multiple users, functions, countries, languages, and currencies".

ASX-listed WiseTech reported that total revenues increased by 68 percent (AU$93.4 million/ USD$67 million) in the July-December 2018 period to stand at AU$156.7 million in the first half of 2019. About 89 percent of the company's revenues (approximately AU$139.5 million) are recurring revenues.
