Oil gas investors, Investing oil still has a great potential. However new energy revolution has been accelerating. Why don’t you take a renewable portfolio? Most renewable stocks have soared up.” BWEN “ is a hidden, wind + solar +industrial (oil gas gear together) Current price $9, not many Wind + Solar stocks remaining at this level. Market Cap only $150M, Price per sales 0.71 solid, institutional ownership 57%. Amazing low float 14M only. Once the words out, it will be a huge gap up moment. Annual profit 317%up Y/Y Remember “ BWEN “
“In December 2020, the U.S. Congress passed legislation that provides a one-year extension of the 60% production tax credits (PTC) for onshore wind for projects commenced before the end of 2021, together with a new 30% investment tax credit (ITC) for offshore wind projects that begin construction prior to 2026,”

So glad I bought this stock. Not!!!

    Debt-to-assets ratio: 0.19
    Debt-to-Equity ratio: 0.60.
These numbers clearly show that the company is financing its operations mostly on its cash and shareholder investments, not debt. The EPS at end of first quarter has been 36 cents per share. This stock looks like a solid company. But then the volume is roughly 550,000. Perhaps the street doesn't think throwing huge money into Permian doesn't worth the risk. Something isn't adding up for me. Can anyone help? I'm new into investing. Thanks in advance!

What happened just now that led to the sudden surge. Suddenly jumps on high volume.
A buyout offer? News on Permian takeaway relief? Something else?
  • H
Why are they in the red when everyone else in a good market day like today>? They're down when other energy stocks are up by at least 10 cents or more. ?

I get an adjusted net income of $0.32 after taxes. That indicates a big beat and a run rate of a 10 PE ratio. Where else can you get a PE of 10 with this type of growth?

Here is a link to an in depth analysis of Select Energy. Some serious thought was put into this one.

Talked to Chris in Investor Relations & they bought 16 million shares in the 4th & another million last quarter. Management owns 10% of the shares. Makes me feel a lot better about my shares.

PE increasing cap ex 100-200 million & net wells, from 144 to 158. A WTTR customer

Parsley Energy, WTTR customer increasing cap ex & number of wells drilled tonight.

PXD cap ex going up. Another WTTR customer.

No slowdown for Select...should be a solid earnings report.

Good results considering market conditions and paying down debt and share buybacks.

Good info on WTTR from "MR. Bert" on SA. Stock @ $13.65. May have room to fall a little due to Permian flow infrastructure, but way more room to run-up as WTTR's water services become more valuable.

Why in the world is this stock going down? Numbers and trend looks good to me. PPS is lower today than it was 12 months ago at half the revenue and EPS. Can anyone help me understand what's up?
  • D
Here is Mr Bert's follow up article on Select Energy. He makes a very compelling argument WTTR is going higher before and after upcoming earnings. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4186846-select-energy-q2-shaping-blowout
Select Energy Services (WTTR) will report Q2 earnings shortly. I believe the stock could trade materially higher into and in the wake of that report. Consensus

The selloff Wed. and Thurs. to new all time lows, on huge volume, was capitulation. Those who wanted out are almost all out now. We should be in for a big trend reversal, at least for awhile.

Does anyone know what date 2Q EPS will be reported?

Stock sold off recently because of concerns that pipeline takeaway capacity is (will be) less than production levels. This matter is discussed on pages 27-29 in the Seeking Alpha article. The author argues (persuasively it seems to me) that there is not really much of a problem there and it should pose virtually no problems for WTTR.
