what if FDA just approve xxii vln cigs and let the open market take it from there. without mandates. I think it would do very well. and also help people get off nicotine.

    This is inspiring:
Jim Mish -- Chief Executive Officer
“Thanks, Mei. Good morning, everyone, and thanks for joining 22nd Century's call today. Before turning to the slides, let me start by saying that my energy level and excitement is really the highest it's been in my 35-year career based on what's happened for 22nd Century since our last earnings call, and what's on our doorstep. 2021 is off to an extremely exciting start.”

This is an excerpt from Mish's news announcement today. Sounds so logical , so sensible yet not getting done . So a sorry situation not just from an investor point of view but also from mankind health and welfare point of view too.

"The Company remains willing to license its RNC (Reduced Nico Cig) tobacco technology to every cigarette manufacturer, including Altria, Reynolds American, and other Big Tobacco companies, so that the entire industry can join 22nd Century’s effort to reduce the harm caused by smoking and protect future generations from ever becoming addicted to cigarettes."

Let me give an opinion on this stock. You can value this how you like.I think Big Tobacco can not afford to make an offer for this company until the gov. makes the .05% nicotine mandatory. If they make an offer before it's mandatory it would be like admitting that cigs are addicting. As everyone knows BT admits nothing, but if the gov. mandates .05% nicotine they have an out. They can say out of the goodness of there hearts they will help everyone by producing vln cigs. Therefore XXII comes into play. The Tobacco side of this Co. can definitely be sold off.Mish has always been involved in the hemp/cannabis side during his career. So what is the magic number for the Tobacco side ?

Nobody has been buying this for it's past and current revenue...they shouldn't because it's an emerging growth stock. People buy this on the premise of Future revenue...you know it.

During the good and the bad I still have to shout 22 Long 22 Strong!!! I know everyone wants to see the FDA give us approval or lay out regulation for cutting nicotine in cigs across the board. I agree, they are moving slower than a turtle walking through peanut butter 🐢 but through it all make sure you leave a little something in this company. Don’t give up when the CEO hasn’t given up nor various groups consistently putting pressure on the FDA. This company has a good team behind it and have done exactly what they said they would do. They’ve gotten us to the finish line. Now all that is left is getting the FDA to pick up that pen or stamp and “APPROVE.” To be honest, with a market as uncertain as the one we trade in and with all the ups and downs, I feel good having my money in this one. It always withstands. 22 Long 22 Strong!!! Let’s trust the process, and the peer reviewed data, and ignore the panic.

What is the 3rd franchise?it is plant based, similar to hemp and tobacco and has a $500b market. Coffee? Tea? Any thoughts?
“22nd Century’s third franchise, with a total addressable market of $500 billion, operates in an industry less regulated than tobacco and hemp/cannabis. It is large, growing, and a natural extension of the Company’s core strength and expertise with a faster route to commercialization than the Company’s first two franchises. The third franchise also has a similar genome to the hemp/cannabis plant. “

That was a great conference call. The company is doing everything it said it would do, plus more. Very optimistic.

WashPo Editorial out just now - advocating for the reduced nicotine mandate - the “really big prize” in tobacco policy - “it is past time to make this move”. The political landscape is changing - the nicotine mandate is gaining momentum.

The agency moves to ban menthol cigarettes, but there is a bigger public health prize.

From their latest PR: "Combined, 22nd Century’s three franchises have a total addressable market of well over $1.3 trillion."

I see $1 billion in revenues easily in the not so distant future, given the huge potential of their IP and technology. $80 per share might not be that far away than many here believe. Never going to sell a single stock of this company.

Ok ok...a hammer at the bottom of a long descent is one of the most bullish indicators for a reversal. The market just hasn’t been kind up to this point.

If an earnings report is bad a company does not release the report prior to pre-market and does not have their call a half an hour into the trading day.
