  • Something is UP,,,,and the shorts seem to finally realize its time!!!
The way it is acting it can fly to $40 very soon
  • There will be up and down, big downs at times. But long term it is going to be up up and up, unless the management screw up big time which I do not foresee. If you have strong stomach, hang on to it like me. I am shooting for minimum 3 year holding when I bought it a few months ago.

  • Yelp will only continue to grow and get bigger. Long term stock
  • Don't be a sucker and sell your shares at these levels, this is what the so call shorts sells want you to believe (that it's going lower) so they can get back in and ride it back up to $33-$34 or so before next quarterly earnings report.
  • Vultures on this board, lying commission sales people.............. (skibare)............
  • Harry Boxer has posted his Charts of the Day video on YELP at TheTechTrader site noting: Yelp Inc. (YELP) has a rising wedge, and we put a Boxer swing short on this one. It rolled over on Tuesday and dropped another 84 cents, or 2.77%, to 29.44, on 1.9 million shares traded. I’m looking for a rollover that takes it to 26 1/2, and eventually to the 23-range, if not worse.
  • Vultures on the phone , lying commission sales people
  • Yelp sales people are the BIGGEST LYING sales people ever
  • I used to be an "Elite" Yelper and wanted the company to succeed. I no longer trust their content, since they encourage members to write 100 reviews/year (that's about 2 per week....most regular people do not visit 2 new establishments a week, and Yelp encourages their contributors to write about ...well, almost anything). If their content isn't reliable or of high quality, or if not enough people contribute, what do they have going for them? Here is an article I wrote about it: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/why-everyone-should-stop-yelping-now_us_594c17b0e4b092ed90588caa

Why Everyone Should Just Stop Yelping
After reaching Elite status, I ceased Yelping and later deleted my account.

  • With Alibaba being a world-class e-commerce titan venturing into differ kinds of businesses including e-commerce, finance, mobile payment. It may acquire Yelp to compete in the social media space with other juggernauts.
  • This is a good long term play only. If you're buying way these levels andz holding long term, you should see a nice return, either through a buyout or independent success over time. And with their cash position and positive cash flow, they should have plenty of time.

if you're in this for a quick profit, I suspect you will be disappointed; unless, of course, we all get a surprise.
  • my Son and i did a service call a few weeks ago
to adjust the tracks on a garage door, so the roller wouldn't slip out. The young asian couple bought this new house a year ago and they had another garage door company out a couple weeks earlier. They charged her 1300 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to put that same roller in. That company has an A+ rating with yelp, angie and the almighty better business bureau. We charged her 50 bucks, before she told us that ugly story....
