Magnetic survey work, conducted by Supreme in 2018, identified iron ore prospects at Bloom East, which could be of strategic importance to Champion and its subsidiary Quebec Iron Ore Inc. (“QIO”), as it could potentially be considered as a source of iron ore feed for the Bloom Lake Mine (“Bloom Lake”) concentration plant owned and operated by QIO. The southern part of Bloom East is geologically continuous with the Bloom Lake orebody and is located east of the Quebec-Labrador Boundary, less than 3 km from the Bloom Lake mill. Furthermore, Champion will evaluate the northern section of Bloom East, which hosts iron ore according to the Newfoundland and Labrador Geoscience Atlas.
Supreme Metals Corp. (the “Company” or “Supreme”) (CSE:ABJ) (A68.F) today announced the closing of its acquisition of Iberian Lithium Corp. (“Iberian”) as previously announced on October 23, 2018, and commencement of a diamond drill program on Iberian’s Alberta II Property in Galicia, Spain. The Alberta II Property is a lithium (with associated tin and tantalum) advanced stage exploration project located in Northwest Iberia, in the Spanish Province of Galicia and has an exploration area of 10 square kilometers (15 Mining Squares of the Spanish Mining Grid). Extensive regional exploration work has included detailed mapping, soil geochemistry using multiple techniques, remote sensing using high-resolution satellite imagery and low altitude flights using UAVs – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, equipped with high-resolution multispectral cameras, and one 3,075 metre diamond drill program consisting of 10 diamond drill holes.
Supreme Metals Corp. (the “Company” or “Supreme”) (CSE:ABJ) (A68.F) is pleased to announce the presence of a significant near surface magnetic anomaly on their Bloom Lake East Property discovered in a recent magnetometer survey. The arcuate 2.5km long magnetic anomaly is located 2.5 km from Champion Iron Mines’ Mill Site and 500m from an existing road. A stratabound Superior-type iron formation known as the Nip Lake West occurrence is found in this area.
Supreme Metals Corp. (the “Company” or “Supreme”) (CSE:ABJ) (A68.F) today announced its claim acquisition of the Fraserdale Conductor. This property consists of 14 contiguous one unit claims acquired by Supreme using Ontario’s MNDMF’s MLAS online claim acquisition service. No additional fees or royalties to other parties were involved in this acquisition. This property contains a strong enigmatic nonmagnetic conductor. Maps prepared by the Ontario Geological Service show this area being within granulite facies rocks.
