    DULUTH, Minn., August 03, 2022--ALLETE, Inc. (NYSE: ALE) today reported second quarter 2022 earnings of 67 cents per share on net income of $37.6 million. Last year’s results were 53 cents per share on net income of $27.9 million. Included in this year’s quarterly results were transaction fees of $1.6 million after-tax, or 3 cents per share, and purchase price accounting impacts of $4 million after-tax, or 7 cents per share, related to the acquisition of New Energy Equity LLC.
