    Bharti Airtel in talks to buy Telkom Kenya: sources

    India's Bharti Airtel is in talks to buy Telkom Kenya, the East African nation's smallest telecoms operator, to create a stronger challenger to market leader Safaricom, three industry sources told Reuters on Monday.     Bharti Airtel picks banks for London flotation of Africa business - sources

    India's biggest mobile carrier Bharti Airtel Ltd has chosen UBS, JP Morgan and Citi to coordinate the London initial public offering of its Africa business, two sources familiar with the matter said. The firm's revenue from mobile services in India fell 18.8 percent to 104.80 billion rupees, while overall revenue fell about 9 percent to 200.80 billion rupees.
