Cardinal Resources Limited (ASX/TSX: CDV) is pleased to provide further updates in the form of an addendum to the Ore Reserve press release on the Namdini Gold Project in Ghana (ASX/TSX press release dated 3 April 2019). The Company has lodged this addendum to the announcement on the 3 April 2019, attached herewith, which provides the relevant modifying factors and updates thereof on each of the criteria under ASX listing rule LR 5.9.1 supporting the 5.1 Moz Ore Reserve Estimate. The Company herewith also provides a PFS update report to that from 18 September 2018.

Cardinal Resources Limited (ASX/TSX: CDV) (“Cardinal” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that first drilling results following the recent wet season have commenced, intersecting further high‐grade and shallow gold mineralisation at the new Ndongo East discovery. Importantly, the Ndongo Prospecting License is located only 24km north of the Company’s Namdini Gold Project for which Cardinal declared a Maiden Probable Ore Reserve of 4.76Moz on the 18 September 2018 (Figure 1). On 16 July and 29 August 2018, Cardinal reported several intersections of high‐grade gold at its new Ndongo East discovery within the Ndongo Prospecting License and has now intersected further high‐grade gold in recently completed diamond drilling which has recently re‐commenced following the wet season.

Dr. Thomas has over 45 years in the mining industry with experience in project development, construction and operations. Until July 2012 he was Senior Vice President, Projects, Kinross Gold Corporation and previously, for 6 years, a Global Managing Director and Board Director at Hatch Ltd, a leading international engineering and construction firm. From 1987 to 2001 he served in progressively senior roles at Barrick Gold Corporation to Senior Vice President, Technical Services. Prior to Barrick Gold Corporation, he also worked for 10 years in Zambia and South Africa with Anglo American Corporation.
Archie Koimtsidis being the Managing Director is not required to be re-elected and Kevin Tomlinson, Michele Muscillo and Jacques McMullen having been most recently elected as director at the annual general meeting of shareholders of the Company held on November 22, 2017 and thus not due for re-election at the Meeting, remain on the Board.
