Excellent report - Guidance raised - backlog increased!

Amazing - CLFD has a debt-to-equity of “zero” with ROE of 27.5%! And we all know that future guidance does not account for GOV $$ spending for second half of the year.

An upgrade - Needham analyst Ryan Koontz initiated coverage with a Buy rating on Clearfield today and set a price target of $92.00. The company’s shares closed last Thursday at $57.94.

Interesting note - CLFD stock price is exactly where it was 6 months ago.

With such good Q1 results it's funny the stock price keeps going down !!

And, just a reminder when looking at CLFD's Balance Sheet, they literally have no debt and have a strong capital reserve...any interest rate hike is less likely to hurt them than competition.

Beware of the upcoming dilution from shelf. Just a matter of time.

Just waiting to see what the shelf offering price will be. Sold a third of my holdings with the pop. Waiting to re enter those profits when they list the price offering

With the lockdown in China, and the shortage of shipping containers, plus the tie-up in Chinese shipping ports, any competitors of Clearfield that have product coming out of China will be hurt in the short run. Look for Clearfield to get a boost over the next two quarters.

An interesting side note...as part of the infrastructure bill, vendors are required to use "Made in America" supplies wherever possible. With broadband expansion as part of the infrastructure bill, Clearfield stands to gain additional business.
