Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) announced that the Company moved a service rig on location today to work over and equip the Imhoff 1 well at the Company’s Wooden Horse property in Southwest Texas. The work over will be completed today and the well will then be put on production.
Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) is pleased to announce that the Company is selling the first loads of oil production from the Kuhn 3 and Kuhn 4 wells. Since pumping began at Kuhn 3 last week the well has produced over 500 barrels of oil and is averaging 62 bbls/day of oil production. At Kuhn 4, over 200 barrels of oil was produced during the intermittent testing of the 1 foot interval in the Buda formation. The additional 5 foot perforating operation was successfully completed last week and the Kuhn 4 well is now flowing back the water and acid from the operation at a rate of 40bbls/day.
Emerald Bay Updates Operatons at MarPat Lease and Kuhn 4 Well
Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) is pleased to announce that the Kuhn 3 Well has begun production. The Company was able to run the rods and pump in the well on Saturday as planned and Kuhn 3 has been producing for 48 hours now. At current pump jack settings, the well is producing 80 bbls/day of oil including the associated gas. The Company will provide further updates as they become available.

(TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) is pleased to announce that operations commenced this morning to add a five foot interval of perforations to the one foot interval currently perforated in the Buda formation of the Kuhn 4 well at the Company’s Wooden Horse play. Perforating operations will be completed today and the well will be shut in for 48 hours. Early next week the newly perforated interval will be stimulated with an acid treatment and the well will be swabbed for a short period of time. Emerald Bay Energy Inc. The perforating will be completed today and then swabbing operations will commence to determine inflow rates. This is the first phase of the completion operations Emerald Bay has planned for Kuhn 3 as previously announced on January 16, 2018. Until recently, completing the Eagle Ford was not part of the Kuhn 3 completion program, our geophysical team however likes what they see in the logs and recommended to management that the Company perforate and test Kuhn 3 in the Eagle Ford.

Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) announced today that the Company began operations this morning to perforate the final three wells of the MarPat partnerships. The MarPat wells have shown commercial viability in the Anacocho, Olmos, and Escondido formations. To date, all the wells have been perforated in one of the three formations. With the completion of these final three wells, oil production from the sixteen MarPat wells will be approximately 40 bbls/day, 10 bbls/day net to Emerald Bay at no cost to the Company.
