serious question. Can someone explain why futures are up? Is this just a casino of doing one day up and one day down?? this has become a complete fraud based on nothing but people betting.

The number of experts posting comments here is amazing. I listen to them all.

Yesterday I bought, sold, and went to hide out the apocalypse in the desert. Let's see what their advice is for today.

The fed buying bond amount of 1.44T a year with ultra low interest rate and sell it @ higher later. The house never lose.😆🤣😂 Once rate goes to normal from 1% to +3%? That's nearly 120B gain in 2 years without any real money in.

We have big problem. Problem is Fed. Powell seems care about keeping his job over doing right thing. last week market overall very stable yet he afraid of it so much that it already adjusting how Fed going to handle it going forward.

I really think higher rate is healthy for market because all those leverage is huge risk and unwinding eventually going to happen. Demography does not support that over leverage we have currently. Fed pillar get weaker every time it jump to support market even in event of meaningless sell off which again healthy for market as many waiting invest when it go lower.

As I type, SPX's E-mini futures are up 0.80% and NAZ100's E-mini futures are up 1.03% from their Friday's close.

...looking to me like Thursday's and Friday's bond-related rout was due more to "mechanical" reasons (i.e., at least one large firm got caught on the wrong side of a complex, highly levered trade that had to be disorderly unwound, with momentum shorts piling on) than true inflation-related fear.

Today, the 10-year's yield is stable, while the 5-year's yield is dropping, with the U.S. dollar weakening. ...not exactly a bearish sign for equities.

    Real men buy the dips.

...pfuggly day for the longs, in tech-trading land.

The un-tech parts of SPX fared today's tech-shᴉtstorm much better than the entire SPX index. So, that tells me that there's still upside in SPX, but until tech's dumping stops, the realization of SPX's upside will take a while. Tech's just too big of a weight on SPX for it not to impact the index, in a big way.

What's all this bullishness? Did Jay Powell come out and signal the all clear? Normally after months of one directional price action, you might expect a little bit bigger move to the downside. I think the dip buyers are getting ahead of themselves. This thing has a bit more to go to the downside. This is just a little bull trap right here. We are not out of the woods yet boyz.

    $OCGN conversation
$SPY and Nasdaq looking good. Just remember these are only indicators. I’m mostly invested in small caps. They will only fully recover after a couple days of market confidence. That’s just how it is baby. It’s okay if you’re not up huge today.

Most of the volume on these small cap stocks are very low and will be lower until we get a couple green and confident market days. Then small caps will fly again, especially small cap bio techs. This especially applies for $ocgn. Volume is half the average today... on amazing news. If Nasdaq and $Spy are green again tomorrow I suspect a lot of these small caps will fly.

News has not been priced into a lot of these stocks. $phio and $veru as well. Waiting for confidence. Literally just check the volume on more of these stocks... less than half of their average volume. When markets recover, big caps and big name stocks always recover first, the rest will follow lol that's just always how it is. $tyme $phio $atos $gevo $ctxr $ogen $dnn

what people don't like the idea of loan 10 years at 1.5%......who knew? Just think you can get the same dividend yield in stocks.....I wonder which one is safer.
