Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. ("Zenyatta" or the "Company") (TSXV: ZEN) is pleased to report on progress in the 81 research partnerships that it has entered into since 2013 that are creating increasing demand for Albany Graphite as a source material for graphene and graphene oxide as well as high-purity graphite for new markets such as energy storage. Due to this growing demand, the company has applied for a bulk sample permit to collect up to 990 tonnes of Albany Graphite mineralization to support Zenyatta’s many collaborative industrial and university research initiatives. On the day of the special meeting, May 11th 2018, Zenyatta had entered into a total of 70 collaborative research agreements, 25 of which were with Academic institutions while 55 were with industry partners. A number of the research agreements signed by the previous management had expired or become inactive due to a lack of contact in the last year. Since the special meeting, the Company has accelerated its outreach with the addition of three new members to the team focused on graphene research and product development.

Dr. Francis Dubé lead the successful proxy battle that saw the incumbent board of directors removed in favour of the dissident board on May 11th 2018. Since then, Dr. Dubé has brought together a strong, diversified Board of Directors and management team. He will build on his role as Head of Market Development and Technology by working with the management team to build business relationships with end users and other participants in the graphene/nano-materials market. Dr. Dubé will also act as Interim Chairman of the Board, a role he has played since the departure of former Chairman, Mr. Brett Richards.

On August 11, 2015, the Corporation completed a private placement issuing 1,690,000 units (the “Units”) at a price of $1.25 per Unit. Each Unit was comprised of one common share in the capital stock of the Corporation and one-half (½) of one purchase warrant (a “Warrant”), with each whole such Warrant exercisable into one common share at an exercise price of $1.65 per common share until August 11, 2016.
Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. ("Zenyatta" or the "Company") (ZEN.V) is pleased to announce the results from test-work performed in 2017 which resulted in a much simplified purification process and a significant improvement in the total recovery of high-purity graphite from the Albany Graphite Deposit located near the communities of Constance Lake First Nation and Hearst, Ontario, Canada. The Company will be re-starting its metallurgical test-work program for the Albany Graphite Deposit this month to collect engineering data for the next technical report. It is anticipated that this test-work will take approximately 4 months to complete. Laboratory investigations into the purification of graphite concentrate were suspended in August 2017 due to lack of funds. This work will be conducted at SGS Canada Inc. (SGS), Lakefield, Ontario under the supervision of the Zenyatta's Metallurgist and Project Manager, James Jordan, P.Eng.
