An anti-Trump guest was mistakenly booked on Fox News, making for excellent live TV

The early morning Fox News show, Fox and Friends First, hosted a truly cringeworthy interview after a mistaken booking.

The show had intended to book an interview with Ann Kirkpatrick, a pro-ICE Democrat, but instead were treated to an anti-ICE, anti-Trump tirade by Massachusetts state senator Barbara L'Italien.

The hosts, Jillian Mele and Rob Schmitt, briefly carried on the interview not knowing who they were speaking with before the control room booted the renegade guest.

L'Italien said the show booked her because of a "failure of due diligence" while Schmitt argued that she had lied to them under the guise of being Kirkpatrick.
