Baby formula bound for the US was loaded onto transport planes at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on May 22, as the White House expanded efforts to staunch a domestic supply shortage.
This video, released by the Air Force, shows personnel handling pallets of what it said was “medical grade” infant formula that had been flown from Switzerland to Ramstein. The military said it was being sent onward to Indianapolis International Airport “for further distribution.” The shipment was coordinated under “Operation Fly Formula,” which the White House outlined this week.
