Yahoo Finance Live’s Brad Smith and Julie Hyman discuss reports that Beyond Meat COO Doug Ramsey has been arrested for biting a man’s nose.
BRAD SMITH: We start with this today.
JULIE HYMAN: Ooh
BRAD SMITH: Beyond Meats' Chief Operating Officer Doug Ramsay was arrested near the University of Ariz-- or University of Arkansas' Razorback Stadium this past weekend. He allegedly punched through the back of a Subaru windshield after it made contact with his car and bit the owner's nose, ripping the flesh off of the tip, after Arkansas won over Missouri State, according to the police report. I don't know why we needed to win in there. But the victim and a witness also alleged that Ramsey told the Subaru owner that he would kill him.
JULIE HYMAN: Apparently, they were waiting to get out of-- this according a police report, they were waiting to get out of the parking lot. The other driver edged in, in front of him. And he said, sort of clipped the spare tire, I guess, on the side of the. car. I don't know why the spare tire-- anyway, the point is, he got out of the car and punched through a window of the car before the person then got out and he attacked him.
OK, sideshow aside, this is not the attention Beyond Meat needs right now. And the stock is actually trading at a record-low today after this report.
BRAD SMITH: I mean, I've rarely gotten hungry in a fit of road rage before. But apparently, that was [INAUDIBLE]
JULIE HYMAN: I do get hangry. But that's--
BRAD SMITH: You get hangry?
JULIE HYMAN: --that's another level.
