BRIAN SOZZI: All right, we're watching PayPal shares ahead of its February 9 earnings report. Citi analysts are cutting their 2023 and 2024 revenue forecasts on PayPal before the results, citing mixed earnings out of MasterCard and Visa. Says Citi, "Paypal's stock is up about 16% year to date, and a crisply executed earnings call matters to continued momentum, in our view."

PepsiCo beats Q1 revenue forecasts as price increases moderate
PepsiCo reported better-than-expected revenue in the first quarter on strong international demand for its snacks and beverages. Sales were hurt by a recall early in the quarter of Quaker Oats cereal, bars and snacks because of potential contamination with salmonella. Quaker Foods sales dropped 24% during the quarter.
