The Commerce Department may limit Huawei

The commerce department is considering restrictions limiting the use of American chip-making equipment to produce semiconductors for Huawei Technologies. The policy change could allow the department to require chip factories globally to secure licenses if they want to use American equipment to create chips for the Chinese tech company.
