Convicted Philippine Journalist Ressa: We Won't Be Silenced

Jun.16 -- Maria Ressa, chief executive officer and executive editor of news site Rappler Inc., discusses her conviction of cyber libel for publishing in 2012 what the court said was a defamatory report against a businessman. The verdict has been condemned by international rights and media groups but a government spokesperson says the court’s decision should be respected. Rappler has been a critic of President Rodrigo Duterte’s policies. Ressa speaks on “Bloomberg Markets: China Open” on Tuesday.
