- We've got the entire Yahoo Finance team on standby. We want to go straight to Anjalee Khemlani who's got the latest for us on the coronavirus. Anjalee?

ANJALEE KHEMLANI: Thanks Adam, yup. As you mentioned just moments ago, we do know that that global count is more than 1.2 million, nearing 1.3 million. And unfortunately, with the US at more than 330,000. And nearly half of those are, in fact, in New York state. And as we know, that is the hardest hit. And this is supposed to be possibly the hardest week for them, in addition to watching the rest of the country in certain metro areas surge.

We do know that the west coast, which first started off as the center of the outbreak, has seen some promising news in the last couple of weeks. We've been watching them sort of decrease. And we know that Washington state just recently returned ventilators to the national stockpile. So that is as well promising news.

We do know that in the vaccine segment, two candidates. So we know that Morderna was already out there. And of the vaccine candidates, we also know that Inovio is now approved for vaccine trials. And those two were Bill Gates backed companies, as well as getting funding from CEPI, that European non-profit.

In addition, we know that CVS has just started doing their drive-through testing in Georgia and Rhode Island. And that one is finally open to the public. We know earlier they had opened one in Massachusetts, which they used as sort of a testing ground and had been only available to health care workers. So good news starting out there. It is by appointment only. But that's a new step away from the FEMA run drive-throughs. Adam?
