Costco misses Wall Street estimates, while holiday sales are expected to increase by 4.2%

Costco posted a miss on expectations, while the retail sector across the board took a hit in September's jobs report; retail jobs in clothing stores were down nearly 14,000, sporting goods stores were down 4,000 and in department stores jobs are down more than 6,000. Meanwhile, retailers are already gearing up for what looks like a busy holiday season. On Thursday, the National Retail Federation said that 2019 holiday sales are expected to rise as much as 4-point-2 percent this year. Yahoo Finance's Heidi Chung and Lila Snyder, Executive Vice President and President of Commerce Services at Pitney Bowes join Yahoo Finance's On The Move to discuss.
