Costco set to report Q3 earnings on Thursday afternoon
Yahoo Finance Live's Seana Smith looks at Costco shares ahead of the retailer's earnings report coming out tomorrow.

SEANA SMITH: All right, let's take a look at a stock to watch for tomorrow because Costco is going to be in focus now. The big box retailer reporting earnings tomorrow after the close. Earnings and revenue both expected to rise from a year ago. But the stock has come under pressure since Walmart reported its first quarter earnings last week, setting a negative tone for the retail sector more broadly. Costco has weathered higher inflation, though, as its customers generally have higher incomes now. The numbers that we're looking for, earnings per share is expected to come in just over $3, at $3.03. Revenue expected to come in at $51 and 1/2 billion.
