BRAD SMITH: Welcome back, everyone. Time for "Cut for Time," three stories, one minute each. We start with this today. The Washington Commanders ownership reportedly moving forward with a potential sale with Bank of America poised to send what amounts to a prospectus for the team and qualified potential buyers. That according to the Washington Post.

Now this has been, of course, in focus for a while with many fans, a lot of team executives wanting Dan Snyder to sell his stake in the Commanders for a long time, and that finally moving forward here, and of course, the change of the team name a couple of years ago, too. So there's been a lot of change over at the Washington football organization.

BRIAN SOZZI: Yes, well, Dan Snyder is probably the-- arguably the Eddie Lampert of owners or CEOs of football. I mean, he's done an abysmal job under his ownership here. So you would have to think fresh blood, new insight, new people there are long overdue for this franchise. But you have any of these players on your fantasy team, Brad?

BRAD SMITH: I don't have any of these players on my fantasy team, thank goodness. That means I don't have to watch any Commanders games this season.

BRIAN SOZZI: I know. That's a tough crowd.

BRAD SMITH: As an Eagles fan.

BRIAN SOZZI: Yeah, I'm not following the Commanders, but of course following this deal here at Yahoo Finance.
