Yahoo Finance markets reporter Ines Ferre checks out the losses seen in today's inflationary-fueled market sell-off, in addition to the bond market, sectors closing in the red across the board, and Nasdaq losses.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Welcome back. As you can see, just minutes away from the closing bell, a market selloff continuing there, accelerating into the close. Let's get your breakdown of what's happening with our very own Ines Ferre. Ines.

INES FERRE: Yeah, Rachelle, we're right now looking at the Dow that's off more than 800 points, near the lows of the session. The NASDAQ down more than almost 400 points. And the S&P 500 down more than 2 and 1/2%. Taking a look at the 10-year Treasury, that's up 11 basis points at 3.16%, and the five-year up 19 basis points. So the 5 and the 10 inverted there. Also looking at the US Dollar Index, it's at three-week high levels.

Looking under the hood at equities where we're at with the sectors, all 11 sectors right now of the S&P 500 being in the red. But you've got consumer discretionary losing the most, along with technology and also financial stocks. Over on the Dow, only Walmart the only component right now being in the green. All the rest are in the red. And looking at the NASDAQ 100, on the left-hand side of the screen, you can see the mega caps, Amazon down more than 5%, Tesla also low--
