Euro-Area Services Slump Seen as New Source of Worry for ECB

Aug.21 -- The sharp slowdown in the euro-area economy is a source of worry for the European Central Bank, says BNY Mellon Senior EMEA Market Strategist Geoffrey Yu, speaking on "Bloomberg Markets: European Open." The economy unexpectedly lost momentum this month as renewed travel restrictions and concerns about the coronavirus took a toll on services.
