Fed minutes show fight to tame inflation 'at all costs' -CIO

STORY: U.S. stock indexes on Wednesday appeared to shrug off the publication of the minutes from the latest Fed meeting, which investors had been waiting on for clues on the central bank's rate policy and inflation fight.

"Participants concurred ... that the near-term inflation outlook had deteriorated since the time of the May meeting," the minutes stated, justifying last month's 0.75-percentage-point rate increase and a move to "restrictive" monetary policy.
