Yahoo Finance Live anchors discuss Ford vehicle sales in July and how the stock is responding.

Video Transcript

AKIKO FUJITA: Let's do a focus on another stock we're watching today. Revved up sales giving a big lift to Ford, with those shares up nearly 3% after the company announced strong sales for the month of June. Sales of the F-series pickup topped 60,000 for the first time, making a 21% jump-- or I should say, marking a 21% jump, while Ford's electric vehicles accounted for nearly 11% of overall sales that share another record.

BRIAN CHEUNG: The F-150 Lightning is sick, by the way. I really want to get one of those trucks.

AKIKO FUJITA: Yeah, yeah. I mean, you feel--

BRIAN CHEUNG: I'm not a pickup truck guy, but I just-- they're sweet.

AKIKO FUJITA: A lot of people looking at it. [INAUDIBLE] pickup.

BRIAN CHEUNG: Yeah, I try to find things to, like, actually carry in a pickup truck because I'm not really much of a handyman.

AKIKO FUJITA: I don't think you're gonna be driving it in the city.
