- Trying to catch Tesla in EV spaces Ford. And Ford actually unveiled a new or their Explorer SUV as an EV but over in Europe. Any plans for it to come here in the US?

PRAS SUBRAMANIAN: Not right now. It's only Europe only. And it's funny because this Explorer like famous nameplate as they call it, bringing it to Europe-- kind of a handsome package like a crossover model there. Nice big floating tablet inside.

It's kind of a very compelling package, but Ford says-- a spokesman told me-- it's only developed for Europe with European customers in mind. And it's also produced in Germany and Europe there, and no plans to export it.

It's going to cost around 45,000 euros. Around $43,000, so a pretty compelling package, but they say it's not meant for the US market. Probably because it's the size or maybe range. Don't know the range yet but--

- I was going to say, it looked a lot smaller than--

- See, I was going to say, it seems like a perfect play for our market.

PRAS SUBRAMANIAN: Yeah.

- What do they mean by that? For-- there are consumers don't like something of that size?

PRAS SUBRAMANIAN: It's a two-row SUV. People-- the thought is that most people here want three-row. They want bigger SUVs. But I have to tell you in places like an urban setting, New York City, or other New Jersey, maybe, you want a car like that.

- Yeah, it makes it easier to parallel park in those congested areas.

- I love it.

PRAS SUBRAMANIAN: Explorer. Going 80 but only in Europe. Yeah.

- Nice little pop for Ford today as well. Pras, good to see you. Thank you, sir.
