JULIE HYMAN: Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of sex trafficking for her role in abetting Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of minors. A jury in New York federal court said Maxwell was guilty on five of six charges, for which she could face up to 65 years in prison. Four of the couple's accusers testified that Maxwell lured them into sexual relationships with Epstein and that Maxwell sometimes participated in the abuse as well. Epstein, who died in prison in 2019, had an extensive business and personal network of powerful names in finance and politics, some of whom have also been accused by his victims.

Goldman Sachs remains at the top of the league tables for the fifth year in a row. The firm was the number-one advisor in mergers and acquisitions, according to Bloomberg. That's ranked by the total dollar value of transactions it handled. Goldman advised on more than a trillion dollars worth of deals, giving it a market share of more than 24% and earning it fees of more than $4 billion for the first nine months of the year. JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Citigroup round out the top five.

And the New York Police Department's vehicle fleet is going electric. The NYPD is ordering 184 Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUVs to be delivered by June 30. The department also approved an option to buy 250 Tesla Model 3 electric sedans at any time in the next five years.

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio earlier this month announced a $420 million investment to cut city emissions, including a plan to buy more than 1,250 electric vehicles in 2022. The city, for context, operates a fleet of about 30,000 vehicles.
