Google parent Alphabet gets drone clearance from FAA

Google's parent company Alphabet officially got the green light from the Federal Aviation Administration to operate its drone delivery business called Wing Aviation in a rural part of Virginia. This is the first drone operator to ever win government approval and could open the doors for others like Amazon to soon jump in. The rigorous process now gives Wing the same certification as smaller airlines do.
