Google has finally settled its tax dispute in Australia and will pay $485 million, which the company says is an extra $327 million on top of the previous tax bill. This follows a $1.5 billion settlement with French tax authorities in September. The Australian Taxation Office says it has now collected over $856 million from tech giants such as Microsoft, Apple, and Facebook under the Multinational Anti-Avoidance Law.
