Guess (GES): Shares are up in early trade, at around 11.5%. The clothing brand and retailer beat estimates by four cents with adjusted quarterly profit of 36 cents per share, but revenue fell below Street forecasts. The company said it was on track to end the year with all of its business units profitable.
Alphabet (GOOG): Shares down here, at .41%. President Trump continues the attacks on Alphabet's Google unit. This time saying the search engine did not promote his State of the Union address. Google said that in fact did.
PayPal (PYPL): Shares down here, around .78%. Berenberg rated the online payment company a "buy" in new coverage noting the company's double-sided platform serving both businesses and consumers and its wide product range.
