What are some stocks that you can buy or at least get ready to buy, like PepsiCo , if you are of the opinion that the world really is slowing and the Fed can't change the equation? The first is Estee Lauder Companies . Here is a company that is run by one of the best executives I have ever met, Fabrizio Freda, late of Procter & Gamble , who has taken this prestigious brand and made it the most-loved makeup company around the world.
Does the July share price for Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:LSCC) reflect what it's really worth? Today, we will estimate the stock's intrinsic value by taking the foreast future cash flows of the company and discounting them back to today's value. Companies can be valued in a lot of ways, so we would point out that a DCF is not perfect for every situation.
If you want to know who really controls Bio-Path Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:BPTH), then you'll have to look at the makeup of its share registry. It's quite normal to see company insiders, such as board members, trading in company stock, from time to time. We don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions. Production employees working in a makeshift tent at Tesla Inc.'s factory in Fremont routinely used electrical tape to patch cracked plastic components, and would knowingly send cars down the line missing nuts, bolts and lugs, in the interest of building as many cars as possible, CNBC reports, citing interviews with more than a half dozen current and former employees. During the Camp Fires last year, when the air quality was so poor that state officials urged people not to go outside, Tesla reportedly continued running the production line inside the tent. Tesla rejected most of the workers' claims as “misleading” anecdotes, saying it's against company policy to cut corners with electrical tape, and that every car is rigorously tested for safety before being leaving the factory.

A high-yield dividend stock doesn't always have to translate into an exceptionally risky stock on shaky financial ground. There are often some very good reasons that a stock with a yield over 5% can be a good opportunity for investors. Which happens to be the case with AT&T (NYSE: T), Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE: RDS-A)(NYSE: RDS-B), and Altria Group (NYSE: MO), all of which sport high dividend yields but don't represent the kind of risks you'd typically associate with such stocks.

Should bargain-hunters pounce on these two comparatively cheap biotech stocks?
Could The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) be an attractive dividend share to own for the long haul? Investors are often drawn to strong companies with the idea of reinvesting the dividends.
