The House is voting on the GOP's new plan to form a special bipartisan committee of House and Senate members to work out a deal on reopening the government and raising the debt ceiling. Robert Costa, National Review, provides perspective.
JimP: Look, I'm a Republican. I'm a conservative, and I am convinced Trump must be impeached. He is just, well, to put it in medical terms: A nut job. I didn't vote for him because I knew going in he simply wasn't Presidential material. My fears are being proved to be valid (I didn't vote at all in the election, due to my conscience not allowing me to vote for Trump or Clinton). We all REALLY need to make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen again.
