Japan is facing a Ninja crisis

Breaking news- Japan is facing a crisis... No it's not the demographic crisis- it's a ninja crisis... Japan is facing a ninja performer shortage to be exact.

NPR's "Planet Money" visited the small city of Iga in central Japan that claims to be the birthplace of the ninja. The city depends heavily upon tourism and each year the city grows by 30,000 with the annual ninja festival.

But it's hard to find ninja's given Japan's low unemployment rate of 2.5%

So if looking for a unique job think about becoming a Ninja the pay is quite competitive between $23-$85 which is a lot more than real ninjas used to earn in medieval Japan.
