Johnson Outlines U.K. Back to Work Plan, Travel Guidance

May.11 -- After seven weeks and more than 30,000 deaths, it is not yet time to lift the U.K.’s coronavirus lockdown, according to Boris Johnson. But while urging the public to “stay alert,” the prime minister is telling people to go out to work if they can’t work from home. Johnson, speaking to the nation on Sunday, said he wants people to cycle or walk or drive their own cars to work, rather than take trains and buses.
