Kesha opens up about the 'scariest day' of her life

Kesha sat down with Anthony Mason, of CBS Sunday Morning, and talked about the performance of her song "Praying," at the 2018 Grammy Awards. The song is an anthem dedicated to the survivors of sexual assault, which is something Kesha is unfortunately familiar with. Kesha has been in a bitter lawsuits with her producer, Dr. Luke, for years. Kesha claimed the producer sexually abused her for years and sought to be released from her record deal. Dr. Luke in turn sued Kesha for defamation. Since Kesha is still in a legal battle, she was not able to discuss Dr. Luke. She did however discuss her time at the Grammys. She said it was "the scariest day of my life." Kesha was joined on stage by a star-studded chorus of women who not only provided vocal backup, but also emotional backup. She said, "I loved that moment. And Cyndi Lauper's like, 'You did great, honey.' And I was, like, 'Oh my God I don't even care. I just lived." CBS Sunday Morning airs Sundays at 6:30 a.m. on CBS.
