DAVE BRIGGS: All right, we're less than two minutes away from the closing bell on the week and on the month and a lot of green on the board. Ines Ferre here with a check on the markets. Hi there, Ines.

INES FERRE: Hi, Dave, and the major averages on track for their best month of the year. And the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ, their biggest monthly gains since November of 2020. So let me pull up the chart on our YFi Interactive so you can see a month-to-date. The NASDAQ up 10.8% for the month. The S&P 500 up more than 8%. And the Dow gaining more than 5% for the month.

Looking at the sectors, today's action, we've been seeing energy stocks, consumer discretionary, industrial stocks that have been leading the gains. If I pull up a one-month chart, you can see consumer discretionary and technology stocks. These are some of the sectors that had lost the most during the year out of the major sectors. Well, these have been the winners for the month.

Taking a look at the NASDAQ 100, Apple, Amazon, being the heavyweights today. Tesla also higher, up more than 5%. And then looking at the Dow, Apple and Chevron have been keeping the Dow positive today. You've got Procter & Gamble down more than 6% on the Dow. Intel down more than 8%.
