Netflix Shares Struggle on Icahn Statement and Competition from Apple

Netflix shares were down on Monday after one of its biggest investors made a startling announcement. Investor Carl Icahn said he sold about half his shares in the video streaming company. Concerns for the company seem to stem from Federal Reserve intervention and Net neutrality, which could possibly hinder earnings for Netflix. The slump in shares is also due to concerns over threats to its online film and streaming services from companies like Apple.
