The NFL finds Miami Dolphins violated anti-tampering rules

Yahoo Finance's Brian Cheung discusses penalties the NFL is imposing on the Miami Dolphins after an investigation into anti-tampering violations.

BRIAN CHEUNG: Want to do a quick detour here. The NFL stripping the Miami Dolphins of two lottery picks, including a first rounder next year. That's after a six-month investigation by the league which found that the Fins violated the league's anti-tampering rules three times between 2019 and 2022 in conversations with Tom Brady and also former coach Sean Payton.

The league specifically identified team owner Stephen Ross and Vice Chairman Bruce Beal. However, the NFL did not find any evidence the team intentionally lost games during the 2019 season following accusations by former coach Brian Flores-- a messy situation over there in Miami, for sure.
