DAVE BRIGGS: All right, another big name set to join the Saudi-backed startup, LIV Golf Tour. Brooks Koepka, currently the 19th ranked player in the world, will reportedly make his first appearance at next week's tournament in Portland, Oregon. LiIV now has 10 major winners and eight of the top 50 players in the world, including Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and Koepka's chief rival in the sport, Bryson DeChambeau.

The PGA, though, countering with news today that next season, the top 50 finishers in the FedEx Cup standings will play eight events, each with purses of $20 million each. So they hope this will stop the steady trickle of players from the PGA to LIV Golf. But the biggest rivalry in sports right now is between these two leagues. And it's not going to end any time soon.

SEANA SMITH: Yeah, I don't know if that's going to stop people from going over to LIV, but.

DAVE BRIGGS: I don't think so, but I think we're going to hear it quiet. Maybe two or three other players. But I think for the most part, everyone's committed at this point.

SEANA SMITH: All right.

DAVE BRIGGS: We'll see.
