Queen Elizabeth II under medical supervision at Balmoral

Yahoo Finance's Julie Hyman explains the latest news surrounding Queen Elizabeth's health.

Video Transcript

JULIE HYMAN: We wanted to bring you an update now on the status of Queen Elizabeth. She is currently under medical supervision at Balmoral. That is the royal family's residence in Scotland, all of this according to Buckingham Palace. Doctors say they are, quote, "concerned" about the health of the 96-year-old monarch. Again, that's according to that statement, but that she is comfortable.

The BBC is now reporting that the Queen's children are either at or traveling to the estate. Remember, Queen Elizabeth is the longest serving monarch in British history, capping more than 70 years heading the United Kingdom. She most recently recovered from a case of COVID earlier this year and said that she was tired after having suffered through that illness. So we will continue to monitor you on any developments coming out of the UK.
